Damn, I Wish I Had One

Cooking can be a lot of work. There are a lot of different items , ingredients and utensils needed to prepare of full meal. Which is one of the reasons why a lot of students  don’t take the time to cook themselves nice hearty meals. Most college students are stuck with recycled appliances and shoddy homemade contraptions to store and cook their food.  And though it may get the job done, most students would agree that they wish they had better equipment and tools to use in the kitchen. Luckily, there are tons of cheap, and effective, items that can help students cook for themselves!

An essential item for almost all cooking is heat. In a dorms or apartments  though, you may not be able to get an open flame from a stove to cook on. And for that there are multiple options that offer the ability to heat and even grill without an open flame. The most notable appliance in this department would be the George Foreman Lean Mean Grilling Machine. These little grills are very versatile and can be used to cook just about anything. In addition, they are great for eating healthier and leaner! Another great option is an indoor grill and griddle combo. These machines are similar to the George Foreman, but they offer some more cooking options with specially designed griddle plates or pans for cooking breakfasts and more.

Once you have the appliances needed to cook, you need the utensils to handle the food while cooking, right? Most large retailers such as Wal-Mart and Target offer a good selection of cheap utensils that will satisfy your cooking needs. But for those who aren’t happy with just the ordinary, there are also tons of unique and creative options that are cosmetically appealing and functional. Getting the right tools can make all the difference when it comes to cooking, but that doesn’t mean you need to spend a lot of money on these items. Being creative with your tools and utensils at hand can work just as well the the most expensive one on the market. As long as it works, do it do it!
